What happens to your input
Tool inputs are processed entirely in your browser using JavaScript. They are not transmitted to our servers, are not stored, and are not readable by us. A few future tools that deliberately need network access will state that on the tool page itself before you use them.
What we collect
- Aggregate page-view analytics via Google Analytics. This includes pages visited, approximate region, device type and referrer. It does not include anything you paste into a tool.
- Anonymous tool usage events (for example: "a tool was used", "a copy button was clicked"). We record metadata such as the input's byte size - never the input itself.
Local storage
Your browser stores one small preference: your color-theme choice. That value never leaves your device.
Cookies
We do not set cookies for authentication or tracking of tool input. Google Analytics may set its own cookies to distinguish visitors; you can block these in your browser settings.
Accounts and ads
There are no user accounts, and no advertising on this site. That means there is no profile of you to build and no data to sell.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the change will be noted here with a date.
